India’s tiger conservation story is now there for the world to see—on National Geographic’s October issue. The cover photo is of the rare black tiger of Simlipal, only found in India. Watch Akanksha Mishra in conversation with the photographer Prasanjeet Yadav, who spent three months trying to get the perfect shot. This also marks only the second Indian photographer whose picture is featured on the Nat Geo cover.
