The fact that Christians and Muslims and hanging up against Hindus explicitly shows the pathetic communal divide caused by the so called seculars (sickulars) I mean , is this secularism ? Cant believe Tamils are being fooled by these DMK and congress rogues for years now
TN voters do not want to see their state with relatively high HDI become a communal playground for national parties. The Dravidian ideology cuts across much of the spectrum of society, and there is a renewed fear that the communal mistrust seen in the northern states like UP may reach the coastal shores with a rich history of harmony and respect. For example, Christianity and Islam came into the south right after Christ and the Prophet while it came to the north through conquests and wars, and there is a lack of understanding of the social contracts and mixed practices over many centuries. A small section of the upper castes, mainly Brahmins, maybe BJP supporters while the traditional Congress vote bank of Nadars (traders, etc) have shifted into the Dravidian fold over the decades. This leaves very little manoeuvring space for non-development and negative rhetoric, the key plank for outside parties. Moreover, TN also a long history of the Left, and much so in the Kongu/Coimbatore belt due to the mills, etc. It also closely toes the line of the DMK, which is built on the principles of social justice and self respect propagated by Periyar.
Christians and Muslims always voted and will vote on their religious bases, but Hindus are fools and divide themselves on caste bases and lose power and minorities will crush Hindus like what Muslims did in Pakistan, Kashmir, Kerala, West Bengal and Christians crushing Hindus in the North Eastern States, but Hindus will never learn lessons from history, that’s why Hindus are disappeared from Afghanistan,Pakistan,Bangladesh, Kashmir, Kerala, and list goes on.
