Bharadwaj sought bail on grounds that she suffered from chronic conditions which put her at higher risk of contracting Covid-19, which the NIA refuted.
The NIA told Bombay High Court that the activist's ailments were not of serious nature and that a plea on the basis of the Covid pandemic shouldn't be allowed by the court.
