Like previous regimes, the NDA too has failed to forge a stable policy within a strategic framework to deal with Pakistan and its strategy of ‘inflicting a thousand cuts’.

How silly the whole article is. Suicide attackers cannot be prevented day in day out, they can only be reduced. It’s the tough posturing in kashmir and for Pakistan that has led to lesser terrorist attacks across the country. I consider the current dispensation’s policy of no interaction to be better than any policy of yore
Nice analysis! India should heavily arm Baluchistan rebels and declare its support for Baluchistan’s freedom even if amounts to irking Iran. We can’t follow policies of the last centuries to placate Iran and keep our support for Baluchistan freedom on hold. It’s time. It’s also time to hurt China by lowering the trade and trade imbalances. Beijing would realise in one or two years when they loose 100 millions dollars worth of business with India. We will loose too but not as much. Given the US pressure on tariff politics, China is weaker and India should punch Beijing now.
