Anxiety stalks buyers as several projects undertaken by real estate giants such as Amrapali Group & Jaypee remain incomplete a decade past their deadline.
Godrej claims its apartments have 10 times purer air than outside, but they also cost a few lakhs more than standard apartments in the same Gurugram sector.
At its peak, Amrapali Group, which was hauled to Supreme Court by more than 2,500 homebuyers, claimed to have nearly 50 properties spread across 24 cities.
Dice have been found dating to the Bronze Age in various Harappan sites in present-day northwest India and throughout Pakistan. And it’s very possible that some had female owners.
This world is being restructured and redrawn by one man, and what’s his power? It’s not his formidable military. It’s trade. With China, it turned on him.
it was a clear nexus for past decades between banks, builders and authorities backed by politician and police….. judgements don’t give you relief these are only printed on papers … like we have property on paper ….. and for both these set of papers homebuyers put in all there life long saving and a lot of time…. the system is so corrupt that there is no end to the trauma…..
The writers failed to mention that it’s another scam of UPA era… All the projects were started in UPA era with pressurising banks to provide loans to the high and mighty builder Mafia with their connection with UPA ministers…. ThePrint which is publishing the comments of the readers with moderation must also publish the article with factual moderation…. The writers have simply said the Govt is not helping the home buyers…. Then how come the NDA has enacted RERA and Insolvency Act to protect the interests of home buyers only…. It’s also a legacy of UPA era…. ThePrint or its writers for obvious reasons failed to mention when the problem started…. And squarely blaming the present Govt…. These all builders have connections with UPA ministers….
Very pertinent article. Thank you Print. Further also note:
Rera does not work Newspapers & Television has no relevance on the ground. When we go the builder’s office for follow up we end up speaking to some junior level executive with no authority, The owners do not meet us – if someone senior meets there we get warm words that we will deliver. The problem is there are no mechanisms in case of a default by the builder. They are only on paper. When we go to the bank – the bank managers are interested only in their receivables. Ok so we made a mistake but what about the builders and the banks. The banks approve the project which gives us some comfort on the legality of land and financial position of the builder.
Also, it is often quoted – demonetization did create problems and the builders use funds from banks for other projects and we may not like it our inability and very poor implementation of laws. The fact of the matter is Newspapers and TV do not matter – they only follow the political leaders do not pay any attention to issues on the people and on the ground. I, therefore, have a simple adage, take control of your life the system cannot and will not help you.
The Amrapali group was endorsed by Indian cricket captain M.S. Dhoni. He is also equally culpable.

The real estate bubble ought to have been pierced in good time. At today’s prices, there is a mismatch between supply and demand from genuine buyers.
