Pressure on Govt. Hospital are very high because all ki da of people are gathered for treatment, and also satisfactory treatment, behavior is very bad therefore Central Govt employees and penssioers move for treatment in empanneled private hospital. Private Hospital charges as per their rates and Govt make payment as per CGHS approved rates and payment in excess are borne by penssioners/serving employees. Govt is requested to clear Hospital dues,. after checking of claims. Penssioner should not be deprived of best treatment at this old age.
Who is benefitted out of not implementing the Central Govt Employees and Pensioners Health Insurance Scheme ? Employees and pensioners will be more than happy with the insurance scheme than the troublesome CGHS. But some people are vehemently dragging it back.
Whatever claims are made in paper, from my recent experiences at Fortis, Jaipur, I can say that the doctors in these hospitals do not have a service attitude as we have in AIIMS and CMC, consequently patients suffer and often dia in ICU. Govt should open up more AIIMS for easy reach of people and people can pay less money to these hospitals compared to branded private hospitals for availing quality health care services. These private hospitals are white elephants, show pieces, and when patients have no option, they go to these hospitals and consequently suffer. Govt has created best educational institutes and health care services and my request to expand these services for the benefits of our countymen.
The doctors working in these hospitals were also trained in AIIMS.CMC.
Maybe you should ask the pts attending the institute’s you work in as what they think about the services offered. Why indulge in flattery?
Keeping in view of interest of beneficiaries of cghs, Govt,. Should pay the pending amount to empanelled hospitals on priority basis.
