To my mind, this initiative should not be the end of the road !
The authorities must grapple with the gloomy state of affairs in the valley tirelessly and patiently always remembering a celebrated
English poet Lord Alfred Tennyson’s evergreen optimistic words,
” To strive,to seek, to find and not to yield.”
Furthermore,the government can involve youth in academic and extra-mural activities ! More libraries and open air theatres can be set up. Their energies and time can be channelised by organising seminars and debates on the issues of national and international importance. They can be motivated to pursue fine arts and theatre art.
In this context, the government alone cannot realise the desired results but icons of the nation in sports,artists, academicians and scribes have a paramount and great role to play.
The youth and citizens of the valley must experience rich and varied exposure.For this purpose, celebrities of the nation must make it a point to visit the valley very frequently off and on to divert their attention as well as psyche from negative destructive and separatist tendencies!
Sans any doubt, the task is Herculean ! But we must always bear in mind, it is only the brave who deserve the fair !
