SEBI probe concluded that purported loans and fund transfers were paid back in full and did not amount to deceptive market practices or unreported related party transactions.
A common thread runs through the memories of soldiers of the 1965 war—ingenuity, courage and camaraderie that withstood an apparently technologically superior foe.
Many really smart people now share the position that playing cricket with Pakistan is politically, strategically and morally wrong. It is just a poor appreciation of competitive sport.
This is a perennial myth cultivated by the ICS-IAS oligarchy. There is shortage of IAS officers because posts are indiscriminately “encadred” to make the tribe increase..Why should an IAS officer be Director of Fisheries or Director General of Education-subjects which he know s nothing about?Implement the recommendation of the Morarjee Desai Commission, carve out a functional field for IAS,give up the underlying theory that the best person to do a job is one who knows nothing about the job, stop further recruitment to IAS until these reforms are implemented and these bogeys of vacancies will automatically vanish.Give the job to the person who knows the job, Give authority to the one who has accountability.

It’s time this country realised that inflating bureaucracy is not the answer to governance issues.
Implementing tasks in project mode, each project led by a technical/ administrative expert to deliver in timeline is the need of the hour.
The rest of the bureaucracy should be wound up.
Crores of superfluous people sitting in costly buildings delivering zilvh- that’s what bureaucracy is.
Just dismantle it.
The direct recruitment through Civil Services Examination conducted by UPSC has continuously decreased after 2014, here we are discussing only about IAS similar shortage are being observed in other premium services too like IPS,IFS,IRS,IA&AS and several others which directly affect the functioning of government machinery.
data and general facts appear to be at variance. The IAS is a coveted position for various purposes – unbridled power – marriage – making money and so on. There are many many unemployed in India. So what are the reasons posts are lying vacant. Possibilities could be :
(i) quality of candidates giving the IAS exam is deficient – and therefore our education system.
(ii) the IAS does not suit many educated people – difficult to understand when the choice is to remain unemployed
(iii) placement of IAS is not even and the ‘difficult’ states have unfilled positions
(iv) some postings are not to the liking of IAS officers – rural – not in limelight – improper lifestyle and so on
Post GST and online Income Tax (Faceless Assessment System) the IRS Officers (both Customs and Central Excise as well as Income Tax) will be superfluous. They can be absorbed into IAS. More so Central Govt Services are many. DS, Director and Joint Secretary Level posting can be done from those willing officers.
Definitely we will be better of without them, if you just look into their financial backgrounds before they join service and what they will be at the end of service will even put Waren Buffet to shame
Shortage of IAS or shortage of Civil services officers? Basically the IAS monopoly has been broken as other services are taking a hand.
And if IAS officers are in short supply, why are they being allowed to go on deputation to head SEBI or various banks / FIs or as vigilance officers?

I can also take this responsibility. I don’t mind.
Too much intrusion into technical departments is one of the cause
