The international court has accused PM Benjamin Netanyahu & Yoav Gallant of 'crimes against humanity and war crimes'. Netanyahu has condemned the decision, calling it 'antisemitic'.
Yahya Sinwar, the architect of Hamas’s 7 October, 2023, attack on Israel that triggered the war in Gaza, was killed Wednesday in a gunfight with Israeli forces.
Israeli PM's comments contrasted with Western leaders, including U.S. President Joe Biden, who said Sinwar's death offered a chance for the conflict to end.
Born in Gaza refugee camp, Sinwar rose through ranks of Palestinian movement starting in his student years. He became Hamas's leader in Gaza in 2017, and orchestrated 7 October attack.
The military footage from a mini drone showed Sinwar, badly wounded in the hand, his face covered in a scarf. He attempts to throw a stick at the drone, in a futile effort to knock it down.
Sinwar, a mastermind of the Oct. 7, 2023, attack that triggered the Gaza war, was killed during an operation by Israeli soldiers in the Palestinian enclave on Wednesday.
However, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, speaking after the operation that killed the Hamas leader in the southern Gaza Strip, said the war would go on.
The Israeli police examined dental & DNA evidence to determine if it was infact Sinwar who was killed by IDF soldiers. Hamas has not confirmed anything yet.
Bihar is blessed with a land more fertile for revolutions than any in India. Why has it fallen so far behind then? Constant obsession with politics is at the root of its destruction.
