India has relationships with Israel and Iran running parallelly; there is nothing clandestine about it.

Either it is thinking that containing China is containing Russia-China-Pakistan alliance, or it is being used by China as mouthpiece to voice discomfort. QUAD has it’s own pitfalls, but Russia getting annoyed by it is beyond logic. India’s association with US is more of economic, people, technology. Can Russia offer these, or persuade it’s friend China to share it with India. So, convergence of India-US goals are obvious. Gone are the days when India used to sing “Sar pe lal topi Russy, phir bhi dil hai Hindustani”.
