Government should create a level playing field for private players but with these bills undue benefit is being given to private players. no market fee on all purchase made outside the APMC will give them undue benefit and leave the APMC system redundant. It is agreed that APMC has its own lacunas but we should focus on removing those lacunas rather than making them redundant like this. moreover, not only farmers rather every middle class consumer. agriculture produce will be sold a t a hefty price after these bills come into force. assurance of MSP by the government is pretty hollow. MSP is declared for corn, cotton and other agriculture produce also but actually farmers don’t get MSP. Try to understand this reality and u will understand how the government’s assurance of MSP is hollow.
