Board instructs affiliated schools to seal OMR sheets within 15 minutes of the exams getting over, puts onus of ‘fair’ conduct of exams on centre superintendent.
According to examination controller Sanyam Bhardwaj, the announced date sheet is for major subjects while the schedule for minor subjects will be sent to schools separately.
Class 10th board exams were cancelled this year in view of the aggressive second wave of Covid. The result has been announced on the basis of an alternate assessment policy.
This year's evaluation was based on the candidate's performance in 2019 class examination in Class 9 and internal assessment for every subject in class 10 on a 50:50 basis.
Pass percentage for both Class 10 and 12 have been above 90%. In Class 10, 99.3% students have passed this year, while for the class 12 the pass percentage is 96.8%.
The arrangement with the scribe will be difficult to comply with social distancing norms and their result will be declared as per an alternative assessment scheme, says CBSE.
According to the guidelines, there will be no exam centre in containment zones & states will be responsible for making transport arrangements for students.
