Everyone knew this marriage was a sham. That Dhanashree Verma married Yuzi as he is a star cricketer and being his wife meant easy access to the rich and famous of India, especially during the IPL season. It has been obvious to the lay person that Ms. Verma’s focus was solely on furthering her career in dance and Yuzi came in handy in her pursuit of stardom. Now Ms. Verma is well acquainted with all Bollywood stars, thanks to IPL parties, and can pursue a serious career in Bollywood and other industries.
Chahal has served his purpose and therefore the marriage ends. Also, one should not forget the princely alimony of 4.75 crores.
