MELBOURNE (Reuters) – Highlights of the seventh day of the Australian Open on Saturday (all times GMT):

0015 ACTION UNDERWAY ON DAY SEVEN AT MELBOURNE PARK

Third round action got underway as scheduled under sunny skies on day seven of the championships.

The temperature was already 22 degrees Celsius (72F) at the Melbourne Park precinct and is forecast to peak at 28 in the late afternoon.
