Mumbai, Mar 24 (PTI) The Mumbai Cricket Association (MCA) on Tuesday announced the launch of “Mumbai Fast,” a dedicated talent hunt programme aimed at identifying and nurturing promising fast bowlers across its jurisdiction.
The talent hunt will be held between March 30 and April 8, and the details regarding venues and timing can be obtained from the MCA website.
The trials will be open for boys and girls in the age group of 17 to 22 years. Bowlers clocking speeds of 120 kmph (boys) and 90 kmph (girls) and above will be shortlisted.
Ajinkya Naik, President, MCA, said: “Mumbai Fast is a focused step towards identifying and developing genuine pace bowling talent across our region. We aim to create a strong pipeline of fast bowlers who can represent Mumbai and India at the highest level.” PTI UNG AM AM
