Threats associated to the environment have become all the more pressing in the past few decades, however positive actions to eliminate the crisis remain dim.

‘Sea Ice? Now You Don’t!’ by Rohan Chakravarty is an endeavour to bring forth these concerns and how they affect the lives of other habitants of our planet in a humorist manner; all without comprising the gravity of these issues.

Rohan Chakravarty effortlessly imparts information on various ecological issues. The personification of animals and even ecological phenomena through captivating sketches coupled with simple language make the book an enormously engaging experience for its readers.

The book is a rather beautiful attempt towards making people aware and generating enough enthusiasm in them to dig deeper; initially to understand the different aspects of environment and how they are being affected by other social, cultural and political aspects of the society, and finally, to initiate change.

Gunjan Menon a conversation film-maker and national geographic explorer said, ‘Sea Ice? Now You Don’t! is an incredible take on the issues plaguing our planet through the eyes of highly opinionated animals leading a revolution.
