Water scarcity is the main problem of this region.. Not a single big project has been allocated to Osmanabad since ages… Nor any politician is doing anything for this.. As there is drought after every two years and not a single other employment option is available to drought hit farmers in the region… This has drawn many many families to Below poverty line.. This is what contributed to below performance of the whole Osmanabad in all the indicators of Human development index….
