She is no different than the other MPs which Assam has selected.
she would have been much better than the present candidate.
But this time bjp has fielded the worst candidate. Bjp has committed to bring CAB which Assamese n NE people will teavh a good lesson
90%+ expenditure incurred – great achievement.
Any reason why State Average is being considered for ‘Expenditure Incurred’ while National Average is being considered for all other parameters?
Most of the MPs in Assam have been able to spend less than 50% of their MPLAD Fund. A legislation may be brought in the Parliament to stipulate the utilisation of the MPLAD Fund within 4years & 9months of oath-taking of the ministry. Any unutilised fund within this period (utilisation certificate duly produced and physical verification being done) be returned and forfeited by the Central Exchequer, leaving no scope for roll/carry over of Funds to next term/year. Annual utilisation of 5Cr needs to be stipulated to ensure the uniform spread of expenditure over the 5 year term.
A very nice initiative by ‘The Print’. Thank you. It would be nice if you could give nature/details of private member’s Bill being introduced by the MPs. Link to such Bills would have been great. Attempts be made to include any extra-ordinary effort being made by MPs towards facilitating projects of national importance or any new infrastructure projects or any industry/investment into his/her constituency along with the figures for employment rate/employment generation.
Agree
ASSAM RAIL PASSENGERS ASSOCIATION tried to put some railway matters before her for discussion. She couldn’t spare time. Assam as a whole not properly represented in DELHI in this span. Looking at the education of BJP candidates this time, we are again going to be deprived. It has become CP ie Contractor in Parliament, not MP as before. Acche din gayab.
Agree
I agree
She is not in fray. The new candidate is far worse. Time for BJP to pack up.
Both BJP and Congress has put up jokers.
