In today’s featured cartoon, Satish Acharya suggests that Christmas came early this year in poll-bound Uttar Pradesh, as he draws PM Narendra Modi as Santa Claus gifting development projects to CM Yogi Adityanath, while Samajwadi Party leader Akhilesh Yadav is punched in the nose by his gift. The allusion is to Income Tax raids at his aides’ houses in Lucknow.
