Dehradun, Mar 15 (PTI) BJP National General Secretary Tarun Chugh on Sunday urged party workers in Uttarakhand to prepare for the 2027 Assembly elections based on the core mantra: “Win the Booth, Win the Election.” Addressing BJP’s organisational meeting here, Chugh said that, like in other parts of the country, the party’s training campaign is currently underway in Uttarakhand as well.

“In this training campaign, our utmost emphasis must be placed on strengthening our booth-level capabilities…our collective core mantra must be: ‘Win the Booth, Win the Election’,” he said at the meeting, which was also attended by Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami and other senior BJP leaders.

Chugh emphasised that the responsibility of ensuring the party’s enduring and invincible presence in the political arena rests with every single worker; to this end, efforts are underway to establish a robust organisational structure alongside the creation of active and capable booth level agents (BLAs).

He expressed satisfaction over the fact that the party in Uttarakhand has already appointed 100 per cent of its BLA-1 agents, while the BLA-2 agents are also set to be appointed very shortly.

The meeting was attended by BJP’s state in-charge and national general secretary Dushyant Gautam, state president and Rajya Sabha member Mahendra Bhatt, as well as MPs, MLAs, former MLAs and various state-level office bearers.

Gautam congratulated Chief Minister Dhami on becoming the first CM in the state’s history to complete a four-year tenure. Heaping praises on Dhami, he said the chief minister is working to ensure that the third decade of this century becomes “Uttarakhand’s Decade.” At the event, Dhami stated that the public stands with the BJP’s nationalist cultural ideology and places its complete trust in the work of the ‘double-engine’ government at both the Centre and the State levels.

Accusing the opposition of engaging in the politics of confusion, Dhami urged all party workers to actively cooperate in all constitutional processes. PTI DPT AMJ AMJ
