Gorakhpur (UP), Apr 6 (PTI) UP Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath on Monday assured government aid to people seeking financial assistance for treatment of serious illnesses, an official statement said.
During a Janata Darshan held at the Gorakhnath Temple here, Adityanath met nearly 200 people at the Mahant Digvijaynath Smriti Bhavan auditorium within the temple premises.
Addressing applicants at the event, the chief minister asked them to obtain treatment estimates from recognised hospitals, following which adequate financial aid would be provided.
He also directed officials to speed up the collection of medical estimates and forward them to the government, ensuring that eligible beneficiaries receive assistance from the chief minister’s discretionary fund.
“No one needs to worry or panic. Every issue will be addressed effectively,” he said.
