Amethi, Dec 3 (PTI) A 30-year-old man died after his motorcycle fell in a roadside ditch in the Mohanganj police station area of the district, police said on Saturday.
SHO of Mohanganj police station Gyan Chandra Shukla said Sunil Kumar, a traffic police personnel posted in Lakhimpur Kheri district, had come on leave to his home in Poore Shiv Singh village to attend a marriage function.
He was riding his motorcycle late on Friday night when he lost control of the two-wheeler and it fell into a roadside ditch. He was seriously injured and rushed to a community health centre for treatment, where he died.
