Maharajganj (UP), Apr 13 (PTI) Three youths were killed on Monday when their motorcycle was allegedly hit by a speeding roadways bus near Sabya Chiroukhot village under the Kothibhar police station area, police said.
The truck hit the motorcycle from behind around 8.20 pm, killing Sahil Sahni (20), Kishan Sahni (22)and Amresh Sahni (19) on the spot, Station House Officer Dharmendra Singh said.
He said the roadways bus driver has been detained, and the families of the deceased have been informed.
The bodies have been kept at a mortuary, and a post-mortem examination will be conducted on Tuesday morning, the SHO added.
