Etah (UP), Mar 23 (PTI) Two men died after an unidentified vehicle hit their motorcycle here on Monday, police said.
The accident occurred when Akshay (19) and his friend Kanhaiya (21), residents of the district, were en route to Jalesar on a motorcycle.
As they reached near Nagla Gothi, an unidentified vehicle rammed into their motorcycle. The impact was so severe that both died on the spot, police said.
Akshay was on his way to attend his sister’s wedding, police said.
Their bodies have been sent for post-mortem, and efforts are on to identify the offending vehicle and its driver.
