Two youths killed in accident in Jharkhand’s West Singhbhum

Chaibasa (Jharkhand), Apr 2 (PTI) Two youths were killed on Thursday after their scooter rammed into a roadside tree in Jharkhand’s West Singhbhum district, a police officer said.

The deceased have been identified as Madhusudan Sundi (20), a resident of Chetansika village, and Jeevan Sawaiya (20) of Barkela village.

Sundi, a student of Tata College, Chaibasa, was riding the scooty while Jeevan, who recently returned from Bengaluru, was the pillion rider.

“Sundi lost control of the vehicle and hit a roadside tree near Barkela while they were on their way to Chaibasa,” the officer said.

Locals rushed to the spot and alerted police, following which the injured were taken to Sadar Hospital, where doctors declared them brought dead. PTI BS MNB
