Amethi (UP), Mar 20 (PTI) Two persons died in a head-on collision between two motorcycles near Rankapur village here, police said on Friday.
Two persons were critically injured in the accident that occurred in the Jagdishpur police station area on Thursday evening.
According to police, four people were injured in the collision between the two motorcycles and were rushed to the Jagdishpur Community Health Centre (CHC). The doctors at the CHC declared two of them, Babulal (60) and Sonu (17), both residents of Amethi, dead.
The remaining two were referred to the Trauma Centre in Lucknow for treatment, police said.
