New Delhi, Apr 1 (PTI) Traffic movement in parts of north and central Delhi will be affected on April 1 and 2 due to Hanuman Janmotsav celebrations near Marghat Wale Baba Hanuman Mandir on Thursday.

According to the advisory issued by the Delhi Traffic Police, multiple religious processions and functions will take place in and around the temple, leading to congestion on key stretches.

Traffic restrictions will be in place from 2 pm to 11 pm on April 1 and throughout the day on April 2.

The affected roads include Ring Road (both carriageways between Shanti Van and ISBT Kashmere Gate), Shyama Prasad Mukherjee Marg, Lothian Road, Netaji Subhash Marg, Nishad Raj Marg, and Boulevard Road.

Authorities said that diversions may be enforced at Rail Chhatta Chowk, Subhash Cut, GPO Chowk, Kela Ghat, Iron Bridge, Boulevard Road–Lothian Road T-point, and under Monkey Bridge on Ring Road, depending on traffic conditions.

Vehicular movement on these stretches may be intermittently regulated or restricted, and commuters may face delays in adjoining areas, the advisory stated. PTI MSJ BM ASD MSJ ASD MPL MPL
