Traffic curbs in central Delhi on Tuesday for Ambedkar Jayanti procession

New Delhi, Apr 13 (PTI) The Delhi Police on Monday issued an advisory announcing traffic arrangements in parts of central Delhi on Tuesday in view of a Shobha Yatra to mark the 135th birth anniversary of BR Ambedkar.

According to the advisory, a public meeting will be held at Ramlila Maidan between 11 am and 3 pm, following which a procession will proceed to Dr Ambedkar Bhawan.

The Shobha Yatra is scheduled to pass through several key stretches, including Ajmeri Gate, Shradhanand Market, Khari Baoli, Qutab Road, Sadar Bazar, Bara Tooti Chowk, Pahari Dhiraj, Filmistan Cinema, East Park Road, DB Gupta Road, Guru Ravidas Marg, Arya Samaj Road, and Rani Jhansi Road.

Traffic restrictions and diversions will be in place from 9 am to 7 pm on major roads such as JLN Marg, Asaf Ali Road, Chaman Lal Marg, Ajmeri Gate, Minto Road, Qutab Road, Rani Jhansi Marg, East Park Road, and DBG Road, the advisory read.
