New Delhi, Mar 12 (PTI) Trinamool Congress MPs will stage a protest in the Parliament complex against the LPG situation on March 13, a party leader said on Thursday.

The protest will be held at 10.30 am, before the House meets for the day, the leader said.

On Thursday, female MPs of TMC brought utensils to the Lok Sabha and banged plates to draw the treasury benches’ attention to the LPG crisis in the country.

Opposition MPs too staged a protest in the Parliament House complex over the cooking gas shortage and sought answers from the government on how it was planning to tackle it.

During their demonstration, MPs from the Congress, DMK, TMC and SP, among others, shouted ‘Naam Narender, Kaam Surrender’ and ‘Modi ji, LPG’ to denounce the prime minister.

The female MPs sat down with a mock brick cooking stove. PTI AO VN VN
