Hyderabad, Mar 15 (PTI) Three people died and six others were injured after a truck hit an autorickshaw in Nalgonda district of Telangana on Sunday, police said.
The incident occurred in Nampally mandal at around 3.30 pm when a bricks-laden truck suffered a tyre burst, causing the driver to lose control of the vehicle. The truck then veered off its path and hit the auto.
The auto-rickshaw had pulled over to the side of the road and passengers were alighting when the accident occurred.
One person died on the spot and two others died undergoing treatment at a hospital, a police official said.
