Bilaspur (HP), Mar 28 (PTI) Ten people were injured when their bus lost control and veered off the road here on Saturday morning, police said.

The Himachal Road Transport Corporation (HRTC) bus with 25 passengers on board was on its way from Bilaspur to Dharamshala, as per schedule, when the accident happened.

On Saturday, the bus was travelling on its scheduled route through Ghumarwin, Bharari, and Ladroar, heading toward the rural area. As the bus approached Ghandalvi, the driver lost control of the vehicle.

According to eyewitnesses, the bus’s high speed caused it to cross a roadside drain and land in the fields, causing a severe jolt.

The injured passengers were rescued with the help of locals. After receiving first aid, all the injured are said to be in good condition.

Police have registered a case, and further investigation is underway, police added. PTI COR BPL HIG HIG
