Thiruvananthapuram, Apr 1 (PTI) Telangana Chief Minister Revanth Reddy on Wednesday launched a sharp attack on Kerala Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan, using a popular Malayalam film dialogue during a UDF campaign roadshow in Nemom constituency ahead of the April 9 Assembly polls.

Addressing party workers, Reddy invoked the famous line “Nee po mone Dinesha” from the Mohanlal-starrer Malayalam blockbuster “Narasimham”, drawing loud cheers from the crowd.

Adapting the dialogue to target Vijayan, he said “Nee po mone Vijaya”, and alleged that the chief minister’s “time is over”, and his “expiry date has passed”.

“Your time is over. Your expiry date is over. You don’t have any time to continue. Now, the UDF’s time has come,” Reddy said during the roadshow.

He expressed confidence that the Congress-led UDF would come to power in Kerala and ensure development in the state.

UDF candidate of Nemom constituency, K S Sabarinathan, was also present along with Reddy during the roadshow. Kerala Assembly, with 140 seats, will go to the polls on April 9. PTI LGK ADB
