Chennai, Mar 13 (PTI) Tamil Nadu has become an “unsafe state” for women and children and the ruling DMK has no concern for its people following a series of incidents, TVK leader Aadhav Arjuna alleged on Friday.

Arjuna who is General Secretary – Election campaign in actor-politician Vijay-led Tamilaga Vettri Kazhagam, referred to the latest incident in Vilathikulam in which a 17 year-old girl was found allegedly murdered in Tuticorin.

In a social media post on Friday, he took potshots on the DMK government over similar incidents that occurred in the state and added that TN was turning into a “unsafe state”.

“DMK government has no concern for its people. Especially, it has not a shred of concern about the safety of women and children and has no responsibility in any essential matters like law and order,” Arjuna alleged.

“When is the Chief Minister (M K Stalin) going to realise the violence, sexual assaults, and state-of-fear happening here? The people will soon answer to the DMK rule that failed to prevent crimes,” he added. PTI VIJ VIJ SA
