Bilaspur (HP), April 11 (PTI) A suspicious “airplane-shaped balloon” bearing the inscription “Pakistan International Airlines” was spotted in the fields near a village here on Saturday, according to locals.

Local resident Rajkumar said people working in the fields under Baloh gram panchayat in Jhanduta subdivision noticed the suspicious balloon on Saturday morning.

They immediately reported the matter to the Talai police station, following which a police team rushed to the scene and took the balloon into custody.

Another local Rajesh Gautam described the suspicious object as an airplane-shaped balloon, on which the words “Pakistan International Airlines” were clearly visible.

He urged the police and administration to investigate the matter.

This is not the first time such a balloon has appeared in Himachal Pradesh. Similar balloons are found from time to time in Una and Bilaspur districts. PTI COR BPL ARB ARB
