SJVN Limited has been awarded the Achievement Award for Creating Social Development and Impact by the Construction Industry Development Council (CIDC) for the third consecutive year, a PIB press release stated.
The company has also received the CIDC Partners in Progress Trophy for its ongoing CSR initiatives. A spokesperson for SJVN said that the awards acknowledge the company’s commitment to creating positive change through innovative and sustainable CSR initiatives. “We are immensely proud for being recognized for our contribution to the society and we will remain dedicated to furthering our efforts in creating a meaningful impact,” said Geeta Kapur, Chairperson and Managing Director, SJVN.
The CSR initiatives of SJVN are aimed at improving the lives of people across various sectors, including education, healthcare, and infrastructure development. The company has spent more than Rs 450 crore on CSR activities such as education and skill development, health and hygiene, and infrastructure development. Kapur also highlighted that SJVN will continue to work towards fulfilling its CSR goals and creating a positive impact on society. The awards were presented to SJVN by CGM (HR) during a ceremony held at the India Habitat Centre, New Delhi.
