Shah arrives in Kolkata, to unveil BJP’s Bengal poll manifesto

Kolkata, Apr 10 (PTI) Union Home Minister Amit Shah arrived in Kolkata on Friday to release the BJP’s election manifesto for the West Bengal assembly polls, and campaign for the party.

He was received at the Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose International Airport by BJP state president Samik Bhattacharya, Leader of the Opposition Suvendu Adhikari and Union Minister Sukanta Majumdar.

Shah, who arrived around noon instead of his scheduled late-night arrival on Thursday, is slated to release the party’s ‘Sankalp Patra’ at a programme in the metropolis.

Later in the day, he will address a public meeting at Debra in Paschim Medinipur district around 4 pm and take part in a roadshow in Kharagpur. PTI PNT ACD
