Mathura, Mar 23 (PTI) Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh chief Mohan Bhagwat will inaugurate Jeevan Deep Ashram in Vrindavan on Tuesday, an ashram official said.
Mahamandaleshwar Yatindranand Giri, head of the ashram, said he invited Bhagwat to inaugurate the facility.
“I was associated with the RSS. It is my family. Since he (Mohan Bhagwat) is the head of the family, I requested him to inaugurate the ashram, which he accepted,” he said.
Seers from Vrindavan and other places are expected to attend the event, he said, adding that several political leaders are also likely to be present.
Mathura District Magistrate Chandra Prakash Singh and Senior Superintendent of Police Shlok Kumar visited the ashram on Monday to review security arrangements, officials said. PTI COR NAV OZ OZ
