Shimla, Mar 23 (PTI) Lieutenant General Devendra Sharma, General Officer Commanding-in-Chief of the Army Training Command, on Monday rededicated the renovated Shraddhanjali Sthal at the Army Heritage Museum in Annandale with a wreath-laying ceremony.

A 52-foot-high national flag was also unveiled on the occasion.

Sharma said the Tricolour symbolises the nation’s unity and pays tribute to the sacrifices of soldiers.

He said the upgraded memorial would serve as a place of remembrance and reflection.

“The rededication of the memorial, along with the installation of the National Flag, reflects the Indian Army’s continued commitment to honouring its fallen heroes and preserving its rich legacy of valour, sacrifice and patriotism,” he added.

The ceremony was attended by military personnel, ex-servicemen, and NCC cadets, who paid homage to the martyrs of the Indian Army, officials said. PTI COR OZ OZ
