New Delhi, Mar 16 (PTI) Congress leader Rahul Gandhi on Monday met Ajay Malik, an assistant commandant of the CoBRA Battalion, who lost one of his legs after being critically injured in an IED blast during an anti-Naxal operation in Jharkhand, and hailed his indomitable courage.
Gandhi met Malik at a guest house in R K Puram here.
“He (Malik) lost one of his legs after being critically injured in an IED blast during an anti-Naxal operation in Jharkhand. Speaking with him, I witnessed his indomitable courage, unwavering morale, and extraordinary spirit,” Gandhi said in a Facebook post in Hindi.
“I salute his service and dedication to the nation. I hope for his speedy recovery,” the Leader of the Opposition in the Lok Sabha said.
