The Power Finance Corporation (PFC) has been awarded the Corporate Social Responsibility Award (CSR) in the Non-Fossil Fuel Business Category at the Outlook Planet Sustainability Summit & Awards 2024. The CSR award acknowledges PFC’s unwavering commitment to sustainable business practices and its contributions to inclusive growth and equitable development in society. The award was received by Smt. Parminder Chopra, Chairperson and Managing Director, PFC. The Outlook Planet Sustainability Summit 2024 brought together senior government policymakers and top management of Central Public Sector Enterprises to discuss and showcase exemplary initiatives in sustainability.
The PFC won the award in the CSR NF category for its CSR initiatives that focus on impactful projects contributing to inclusive growth and equitable development in society through education and capacity building measures. PFC has been extending financial support to various sustainable and developmental initiatives in the areas of health, sanitation, education, environment, and sustainability, skill development, and empowerment of differently abled people, as an inclusive and responsible corporate.
