PM arrives in Kolkata, to unveil development projects worth over Rs 18,500 cr

Kolkata, Mar 14 (PTI) Prime Minister Narendra Modi arrived in Kolkata on a brief visit where he will address a rally and unveil development projects worth around Rs 18,680 crore.

Modi was received by Governor RN Ravi, senior West Bengal minister Firhad Hakim and Chief Secretary Nandini Chakraborty at the NSCB International Airport around 2 pm.

Senior BJP leaders also greeted him at the airport.

Modi is scheduled to head to the Brigade Parade Ground for a rally by helicopter.

The rally, organised by the BJP, will mark the culmination of the party’s statewide ‘Parivartan Yatra’ ahead of the assembly elections.

During the visit, the prime minister will inaugurate and lay foundation stones for development projects worth around Rs 18,680 crore. PTI SUS MNB
