Patna, Apr 7 (PTI) Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar’s son Nishant on Tuesday said people will never forget the work done by his father over the past two decades and urged them to continue their support for him and the party.
His remarks come amid speculation over the next chief minister, with Nitish Kumar set to move to the Rajya Sabha.
While no official announcement has been made by the JD(U), some party workers have been pitching Nishant Kumar as a potential successor.
Speaking to reporters during his visit to Baba Harihar Nath Temple in Sonepur, Nishant said, “People will not be able to forget the works done by my father in the last 20 years. I appeal to them to maintain their blessings on me, our party and my father.” “I have come here after a long time. Some 20 years back, I used to be a frequent visitor to Baba Harihar Nath Temple,” he said. PTI SUK MNB
