Goa: Paul John Whisky, India’s most awarded single malt, has announced the launch of the ‘Paul John Christmas Edition 2025’, the eighth annual limited collector’s edition from the brand.
The expression is an unpeated single malt distilled in Goa by John Distilleries. It was matured in ex-bourbon casks and finished in cream casks. The release is non-chill-filtered, contains no additives and is bottled at 48% ABV. The global release comprises 6,254 bottles.
Paul John provided tasting specifications for the Christmas Edition 2025. The colour is described as deep amber with glimmers of crimson gold. The nose is listed as ripe plum, dark cherry, candied orange peel, orange blossom honey, soft toffee, cocoa and nutmeg. The palate is described to include apple, stone fruits, caramel, roasted nuts, tropical sweetness, spiced rum, butterscotch and dark caramel. The finish is described as long and creamy with sweet oak, molasses, dried berries and a subtle hint of Christmas cake.
The Christmas Edition is the eighth release in Paul John’s annual limited-edition series, produced each year as a collector’s release for global whisky enthusiasts and retail partners.
Paul John Single Malts are distilled in the tropical climate of Goa and are produced from Indian six-row barley sourced from Rajasthan, Haryana and the foothills of the Himalayas.
