Medininagar (Jharkhand), Apr 6 (PTI) One person was killed and four others, including two circle officers, were injured in separate road accidents in Jharkhand’s Palamu and Garhwa districts on Monday, police said.
The two circle officers were injured when their government vehicle was hit by a truck on National Highway-98 near Birsa Munda Chowk under Chhatarpur police station limits when the officers were on their way to Palamu to attend a government meeting.
“Three, including Naudiha Bazar circle officer (CO) Sanjay Kumar Singh and Pipra CO Jitendra Kumar Singh, were seriously injured after their government vehicle was hit by a truck. The driver was also injured. All three were admitted to a sub-divisional hospital and later referred to Medininagar Medical College and Hospital for better treatment,” a police officer said.
In another incident in Garhwa, a person was killed, while another was injured after their motorcycle hit a culvert wall on the Dhurki-Bilaspur road in Ghurki police station area on Monday, the police station in-charge Janardhan Raut said.
