Muzaffarpur (Bihar), Apr 11 (PTI) A 10-year-old girl was allegedly raped by two men in Bihar’s Muzaffarpur district, police said on Saturday.

Two women of the girl’s locality took her to the house of another woman and called the two men who allegedly raped the minor on Friday night, the police said.

Town SDPO Suresh Kumar told reporters that “Mithanpura police received information about the alleged rape of a minor girl. Acting swiftly, police held the three women, and proceedings are going on to nab the main accused.” The victim is undergoing treatment at Shree Krishna Medical College and Hospital (SKMCH) in Muzaffarpur, he added.

An FSL team visited the site, and further investigations are underway, the SDPO said.

“The accused women dropped the girl off at home, but when her condition deteriorated, she narrated the entire episode to her family upon being asked,” a family member said. PTI COR SUK RG
