Palghar, Jan 28 (PTI) A75-year-old woman was crushed to death on Saturday after being hit by a truck that was taking a turn near a junction in Vasai in Maharashtra’s Palghar district, a police official said.
Parvati Narayan had come to her sister’s house here from Tamil Nadu, the Vasai police station official added.
“The incident took place in Diwanman main circle at around 11 am. The truck was loaded with rations and had left from the local tehsil office. A case has been registered and further probe is underway,” he said. PTI COR BNM BNM
