New Delhi, Apr 11 (PTI) Following are the key points of the draft Delhi Electric Vehicle Policy 2026-2030 : – 100 per cent road tax plus registration fee exemption for electric vehicles till 2030 less than Rs 30 lakh ex-showroom cost – Electric cars less than Rs 30 lakh will get full exemption till 31 March 2030 – Strong hybrids to get 50 per cent exemption in fees and taxes – Only electric three-wheelers to be registered from 1 January 2027 – Only electric two-wheelers from 1 April 2028 – No new petrol/diesel vehicles in delivery fleets -All new government vehicles to be electric – 30 per cent schools buses to be electric by 2030 – All new government buses to be electric – Delhi Transco Limited to lead expansion of public charging and battery swapping stations – Single-window clearance system for faster setup HIG HIG
