New Delhi: Malayalam actor Sreejith Ravi was arrested Thursday for allegedly flashing two minor girls in Palakkad three days ago.
The 46-year-old, son of popular actor T.G. Ravi, has been charged under the stringent Protection of Children from Sexual Offences (POCSO) Act for indecent exposure.
This is the actor’s second such offence, having wriggled out of the first one in 2016 when 14 school girls accused Ravi of exposing himself. The actor had then argued that the complainants misunderstood him. He was let out on bail.
On Monday, the actor got out of his car in a park in Thrissur and allegedly flashed the two children.
The Thrissur Police scanned CCTV footage to zero in on the culprit. When they reached his house, they realised it was actor Sreejith, Mathrubhumi reported.
