New Delhi, Oct 9 (PTI) AAP leader Arvind Kejriwal will visit Doda in Jammu and Kashmir on October 13 instead of October 10 as the Model Code of Conduct is in effect in the Union territory, party MP Sanjay Singh said on Wednesday.
The Aam Aadmi Party national convenor will now visit Doda on Sunday to convey his thanks to the people there for electing party candidate Mehraj Malik from the constituency, Singh said in a post on X.
Malik opened AAP’s account in Jammu and Kashmir by defeating the BJP candidate from Doda in the assembly polls, the results of which were announced on Tuesday.
AAP now has MLAs in five states — Delhi, Punjab, Gujarat and Goa.
In a video call with Malik on Tuesday, Kejriwal accepted his invitation to visit Doda and attend a programme there. PTI VIT IJT IJT
