Jamshedpur, Mar 22 (PTI) Hundreds of people participated in a ‘Tiranga Yatra’ in Jharkhand’s Jamshedpur on Sunday to pay homage to freedom fighters Bhagat Singh, Rajguru and Sukhdev.

The rally began from Agrico Maidan and covered nearly 6 km, passing through Bhalubasa Chowk and Sakchi roundabout before culminating at the starting point.

The march paid homage to the freedom fighters who were executed on March 23, 1931.

State BJP spokesperson Amarpreet Singh Kale, who organised the march, said the sacrifices of Bhagat Singh, Rajguru and Sukhdev continue to inspire the youth of the country.

The organisers claimed that around 30,000 people, including a large number of women, took part in the march, which was first started in 2016. PTI BS SOM
